ROSEAU WEATHER

Load Control Website

1.

If you are a Roseau Electric Cooperative off-peak customer, you can now check the status of your loads that are being controlled.  With a few steps, you can find the information that is needed to use the Minnkota's website for the Load Control information.

First, locate your Roseau Electric bill.  On the back side of the bill, you will see a section that is labeled Energy Usage/Lights Summary.  In this section you find your location number that will be needed to find your load control information.  The location must have at least two meters.

2.

Next you will need to view the Roseau Electric Dual Heat Load Groups Report.  Click here to view the report.

After you have opened this report, simply click on the search button with the binoculars at the top of the screen and a search engine will appear on the right hand side of your screen.  Type your location number in the area that asks, "What word or phrase would you like to search for?" After you have entered your location number exactly as it appears on your bill, click on the search button.

3.

After you have clicked on the search button, your location number should appear under results and the report should automatically scroll to your location number and highlight it.  Under your location, you will see items that we have on file as off-peak.  Pick the item and write down the Load Group and Double Order numbers.  These will be used on the Minnkota website to see if it is being controlled.

4.

Now we need to go to the Minnkota website.  To obtain the latest information regarding Minnkota Power's current state of the load management system, click here.

You will now see a screen that looks like the image at right:

By using your numbers under Load Group and Double Order, you can see if your system is currently being controlled.  For this customer, the Load Group is 3.01 and the Double Order is 14.  By finding 3.01 on the left hand side and finding 14 on the top, we can see that this person is not currently being controlled.

IMPORTANT: You will need to hit the "Reload" or "Refresh" button on your browser after the Minnkota page comes up so you're sure to get the latest information from the site!
