GreenTouch group with Roseau Electric
Project GreenTouch is held each year, typically the first Saturday in May, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. A grilled picnic lunch is served. Youth groups, service club, individuals and families are welcome to participate in GreenTouch day. If you are interested in volunteering, you may contact Mary Preteau at 218-463-1543 or mpreteau@roseauelectric.com.
Project GreenTouch is a collaboration of Minnesota Touchstone Energy Cooperatives who join together with their electric cooperative employees and members to volunteer in various parks throughout the state. Roseau Electric Cooperative volunteers locally at Hayes Lake State Park, where we work together on projects like clearing walking trails and campgrounds, raking leaves and pine needles, picking up litter, and other general cleanup.
GreenTouch officially launched in 2000, and since then more than 9,700 people have volunteered more than 35,800 hours to help beautify our state parks!
Roseau Electric Cooperative is a Touchstone Energy® cooperative serving parts of four counties in north-central Minnesota. The rural electric cooperative provides services to more than 6,650 member-owners within 2,190 miles of line.
