Outage & Storm Center

Everything members need to know during an outage.

Keeping Your Power On

Keeping your power on is our number one priority. Despite our best efforts, power outages do occur for a variety of reasons including strong seasonal storms, trees, squirrels, downed power lines, equipment failure and accidents. We will try to keep you as up to date as possible and restore power as quickly and safely as we can.

Contact Information

By keeping your contact information up to date, it allows the cooperative to contact you regarding your account if there is a need, such as a planned outage.

Updating your contact information is helpful because it speeds up the power restoration process. At Roseau Electric, we utilize the phone numbers you provide to link your service location to our outage management system (OMS). If we have your current contact phone number in our system, our OMS will instantly recognize your phone number and can determine the particular service address from which you are reporting the outage. But remember, this only works if your current phone number (especially your cellphone number) is linked to your electric account.

By having an email address on file, you can also sign up for online account access through SmartHub. There you can sign up for alerts, pay bills and easily report a power outage.
