Member-Owned Renewable Energy Systems

There are many factors to consider when installing a distributed energy resource (DER).

Member-Owned Renewable Generation

Before you begin

If you are interested in interconnected solar or wind generation, please contact Roseau Electric Cooperative at 218-463-1543 or 888-847-8840 or email us prior to beginning. There are many factors to consider when installing a distributed energy resource (DER) and we encourage members to contact us when weighing options to help them make an informed choice. All interconnected member-owned generation systems must complete an Interconnection Application; existing systems must notify the cooperative of any alterations using the DER Alteration Notification form.

Understand that there are rules concerning proper equipment, safety, liability and energy reimbursement. To be compliant, you must complete all the necessary documentation which is available on the NOVA Power Portal.

Other required document: IRS Form W9.

Visit the NOVA Power Portal for procedures, information, documentation and application. This new portal offers details, background, regulations and an application to get your project going.
